The Barn House

This project reassemble a part of my portfolio work, the project started from an old barn, built in stone and bricks, came in a pretty good shape, the structure walls where inforced already, which gave me enough confidence to work on my envisioned design.
The house is located on a hill area, because we are having the gift of having for seasons, i could afford, to integrate a fireplace to warm up the living area, in winter days, and also for a touch of coziness, but the main hitting come from floor heating system. In spring and summer the living room is capable to convert in an open terrace trough these beautiful big sliding windows. The main patio comes also with a swimming pool to cool of in the summer days.
The hallway is also very large and open, and holds a big dresser and deposit space for coats , shoes, and additional objects. From herein leads to two of the guest bedrooms, the laundry room, garage exit, and service bathroom, and of course following the stairs you will get to second floor , where we will find the owner area, composed from 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and an office- living space area.
The kitchen is also very big and spacious, regarding the fact that we are talking about a vacation house, the kitchen needs to sustain allot of space for cooking, bar activities and entertainment.
For intimacy i choose to attached on the wall between kicthen and living room wood sliding doors.
Because i have such tall walls, i get to use that by ensabling a tall bookcase, depository and secret bar together. The walls they need to feel warm and welcoming so i decided that a panel wall will be a good idea.
