He started a line of lounge area furniture.
The celebrated fashion designer (creative director of Balenciaga, winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award for his own line) has created a capsule collection of ‘lounge’ pieces for Italian fine furnituremaker +Poltrona Frau 

 Wang’s collection comprises two beanbag-style chairs—literally and stylistically elevated from their dorm-room cousins by shining bronze-plated steel bases—and a bar trunk. The chairs are offered in Poltrona Frau’s matte-black leather or shearling fabric and cost $8,800 each. At $18,500, the bar trunk is matte-black shagreen with a suede interior lined in polished steel.
