Solving unwelcoming waiting room problems.
9:07 PM
If you ever been in the situation of having a waiting area for your office, bussines area, even at home, but when you got your space, the only room big enough for this area is so dull and it has the 'you are not welcome' in it. Than you for sure need some help. Down bellow i have set some realy simple rooms, and i have transformed them in a welcome place with a cozy feeling. Now if you dont have an artistic eye, you should contract a designer, but the things i am showing here might help you working by your own.
The most important things when you are remodeling your waiting area are:
-having a pretty big space where you can put some chairs and tables
- having a good source of light and ventilation( need fresh air and an AC)
-use comfortable sofas and armchairs, so people will feel good and not nervous that they need to wait in a place that is uncorfortable
- place some magazine stand , holder, table. Give them the chance to entertain by ading a tv, music, magazines.
- wall art, is good for the ambiance and also bost's up your space.
-floral vases, plants, help the space to look fresh, and that someone is actually tryng to make the place as confortable they can.
-do not obstruct your natural light, and do not overload the walls with infomercial content. It might be easy to inform your customers, but the place will look tacky and will get you tired.
-as nicer it looks, try to evoid all the leather look-alike fabrics that will get your customer legs and bum sweety. Also evoid white, is geting dirty and stained to fast, so if you are not ready to pay expensive cleaning products, just becouse you whant a white chair, than u better take this as an advice.
-if your room has a beautiful view, try not to hide it, and also if your room has already a tipical vibe, for example your room is surrounded by windows, than dont use curtains and thigs that might obstruct the main purpose of the architecture.
Down bellow you have the pictures of before and after. If you are interested in checking or buying the products i have used click on the link bellow every picture. There you will see all the products i have used in the main project.
