Hello dear readers lets talk about the Scandinavian Design. Many of you including me have seen it everywhere, we where just not aware of the place where is coming and the name of it. Well is not actually a design style, is more like a way of living becouse of the way it uses the simplicity and functionality, more like a minimalistic design. When all of this started well they say that around 1950's in the Scandinavian countries such as Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Scandiavian design is considered a movement.

Proeminent Finnish designers include Alvar Aalto, Aino Aalto, Kaj Frank, Klaus Haapaniemi and many others.

They  are using already things they had in their own houses, some old wood floor now became a white painted simple floor covered by a hand woven milk color rug. 

Then the old fireplace is painted in a bright colour , next to some minimalistic shelves.
Sometimes for adding a pinch of bold, u can paint a wall in charcoal black or grey, for the bedding the best and simple white sheets pillow cases blanket and may be a knited throw in an earthy tone.

As u can see the main thing in the scandinavian design is the simplicity they are trying to keep even the smallest places open, so that the  place will look bigger and brighter, clean   at the same time.

For the kitchen same thing , all the walls white includding the bricks, then add some statement with the furniture. Simple white and wood, then some mint colour chairs. 
Or u can try black on wood, is simple and it's looks elegant in the same time.




For the bathroom area, just go with white, glass and black accent.








For the outdoor area, use simple wood pieces of furniture and some matress to create an outdoor bench where you  can relax. For the floor, use some deck flooring and some black pannel wall .
